Repository survey for the study on the European Research Data Landscape

Introduction

Thank you for your interest in this survey. If you have already filled the survey but received another invitation, please do not respond for the second time and inform us about the situation by writing to survey.erdl@visionary.lt.

Before you start the survey, please note the following:

  • Your progress and responses are saved every time you go to another page in the survey.
  • More details about some phrases and terms used in the questionnaire are provided after moving your mouse over a specific highlighted phrase.
  • By research data we mean information (in particular facts or numbers), collected and to be examined and used as a basis for reasoning, discussion or calculation. This includes statistics, results of experiments, measurements, observations resulting from fieldwork, survey results, interview recordings and images. Research data includes experimental data (data collected with an active involvement of researcher in altering variable(s)), observational data (data collected through observing the data, such as surveys, sensor data monitoring, etc.), simulation data (data generated by using computer models to mimic real world processes or systems), compiled/derived data (data created through transformation and/or combination of already collected data, including from different data sources), archival/documentary data (data from existing archival sources and/or documents), software or code. Following this definition, research data does not include scientific publications themselves.
  • Asterisk (*) near the question indicates that you must answer the question to proceed with the survey.
